The Wines

At Seifrieds we craft wines under three different labels. This enables us to express the fruit and winemaking techniques in the best way possible.

Seifried

The Seifried range is our premium label, with the fruit for these wines grown on established vines, usually in excess of 8 years old.

Our premium range often uses fruit grown on several different sites, enabling us to produce wines with fantastic depth and complexity.

Winemakers Collection

The Winemakers Collection is a small range of wines, which we consider to be the pinnacle of our vintage.

Due to the use of several different vineyard sites we batch ferment and age all wines separately. If we feel that a wine is something extraordinary then we will consider this small batch for the Winemakers Collection label. For this reason wines available in this range vary from year to year.

Old Coach Road

Old Coach Road runs along a ridge in the centre of the Moutere area. During the 1850’s the first regular mail deliveries were carried by foot and then by horse back.

Our Old Coach Road wines were introduced in the early nineties as our second tier label, to enable us to enter the market with an expanded range of wines, with emphasis on wines for earlier consumption.

These wines are more fruit driven styles, such as the Sauvignon Blanc and Unoaked Chardonnay.
